Research Team

Professor Audrey Yue
Professor in Media, Culture and Critical Theory, Head of Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore

Audrey Yue is Professor in Media, Culture and Critical Theory, Head of Communications and New Media, Convenor of the Cultural Studies in Asia multidisciplinary programme and Director of the Cultural Research Centre at the National University of Singapore. Her research covers the fields of transnational Chinese media cultures; cultural policy and development, and Asian gender studies.

Professor Natalie Pang
Associate Professor, Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore

Natalie Pang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore. Her research lies at the intersection of technology and society, and her research projects are organised under the themes of digital citizenship, digital equity and wellbeing, digital humanities and data cultures in smart cities.

Professor Zhang Renwen
Associate Professor, Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore

Renwen Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore. Her research lies at the intersection of health communication, human computer interaction, and interpersonal communication. She employs mixed methods to examine the design, use, and effects of digital technology for promoting wellbeing and mental health.

Dr. Yuhyun Park is a world-leading expert in digital skills and child online safety. She created the Digital Intelligence (DQ) concept and framework, which is the world’s first global standards and a common framework for digital literacy, skills, and readiness (IEEE 3527.1TM) which was endorsed by the IEEE Standards Association, OECD, and World Economic Forum in 2018.

Dr. Yuhyun Park is a world-leading expert in digital skills and child online safety. Professor Lim Ee Peng
Professor of Computer Science, Singapore Management  University

Lim Ee Peng is a Professor of Computer Science at the Singapore Management University. His research interests cover data mining, machine learning, and information retrieval. He develops novel methods that model and analyse user generated structured and unstructured data for the purpose of extracting knowledge embedded in the data and improving social and urban experience through recommendation and prediction.
